SaaS Mode

SaaS Mode transforms your agency into a software reselling platform. Rebrand and repackage the platform under your own name, domain, and pricing. Clients sign up, pay you directly through Stripe, and get auto-provisioned sub-accounts with features and limits you define. Available exclusively on Agency Pro plan ($497/month). Unlocks SaaS Configurator, rebilling with markup, snapshot sharing, and full white-label capabilities.

What SaaS Mode Does

The SaaS Configurator builds pricing plans (up to 20 per agency). Click Add Your Plan, enter name/description, set Monthly/Yearly pricing variants, add optional one-time setup fee, configure free trial period, toggle Use as SaaS Product. Each plan maps to a Stripe product. Toggle features on/off: Conversations, Calendars/Booking, Funnels/Websites, Workflows/Automations, Pipelines/Opportunities, Reputation Management, Payments/Invoicing, Content AI, Workflow AI, LC Premium Triggers/Actions, Template Library. Set usage limits: contacts, users, workflows, funnels/websites, storage. Limits enforce plan boundaries automatically, prompting upgrades when hit.

Attach Snapshots to plans to pre-load sub-accounts on signup with pre-built workflows, funnel templates, pipeline configurations, email/SMS templates, form/survey templates, calendar setups. Build industry-specific snapshots (dental, real estate, coaching) for niche markets.

Rebilling passes platform usage costs (telephony, email, AI) through to clients with profit margin. Configure markup multiplier (2x, 3x, 5x). Example: SMS base cost $0.0079, 3x markup means client pays $0.0237, you pocket difference. Enable rebilling for Phone, SMS, Email, AI, Reviews in plan Rebilling section. Clients manage usage via Settings > Company Billing with wallet balance, auto-recharge thresholds, and saved payment methods. Rebilling always processes in USD regardless of subscription currency.

Automated onboarding creates sub-account on successful payment using customer’s name/business details, generates user account with auto-generated password, applies attached snapshot, configures feature permissions per plan, enables SaaS Mode and rebilling, sends welcome email with login URL and password setup instructions. Entire process takes seconds.

Key Configuration Options

Prerequisites. Active Agency Pro subscription, verified Stripe account connected at agency level, at least one sub-account as SaaS Configurator workspace, white-label domain configured, agency logo uploaded. Navigate to Agency Settings > SaaS Configurator, select/create workspace sub-account, connect Stripe via Agency Settings > Integrations > Stripe Connect, configure white-label login domain, set custom API domain URL, upload logo.

Plan Creation. Up to 20 plans per agency. Each maps to Stripe product. Name/description visible during checkout. Monthly/Yearly pricing variants. Optional setup fee. Free trial period. Use as SaaS Product toggle. Feature toggles create natural upgrade paths: Starter (core CRM + conversations), Growth (adds automations + funnels), Premium (AI + advanced analytics).

Selling Plans. Import plans to sales pages: copy Stripe Product ID from Configurator, navigate to Payments > Products, click Import from Stripe, paste ID, optionally add setup fee. Build signup funnel with landing page, 2-Step Order Form element (captures contact details + processes payment), thank-you page with login instructions. Stripe required for SaaS subscriptions. PayPal not supported (no auto-provisioning).

Multi-Currency Support. Configure currency when creating Stripe product. Cannot change after active subscriptions exist. Create separate products for different currency markets if needed. Rebilling always processes in USD.

Power Features

Revenue Stacking. Total revenue per client: subscription fees (monthly/annual payment), setup fees (one-time charges), rebilling markup (ongoing profit from telephony/email/AI usage), snapshot sales (pre-built configurations as add-ons), service fees (done-for-you setup, training, management). Example: client paying $297/month might generate $50-150/month in rebilling profit, bringing effective revenue to $350-450/month.

Complimentary Credits. Set dollar amount of telephony/email credits per plan. Choose immediate issuance at signup or after trial period ends. Credits auto-load into client wallet, consumed as they use communication features. Reduces friction during onboarding.

Post-Sale Management. Change plans (upgrade/downgrade via Stripe), modify features (adjust toggles and usage limits per sub-account), pause/cancel (manage subscription status from agency dashboard), switch existing accounts (convert any sub-account to SaaS subscription via three-dot menu > Switch To SaaS).

Tiered Plan Structure. Most agencies offer three tiers: Starter ($97-197/month, core CRM + conversations + basic automations), Growth ($297-497/month, full automations + funnels + pipelines + reputation), Premium ($497-997/month, everything + AI + advanced analytics + priority support).

Pro Tips

  • Start with three plans (starter, growth, premium). Clear tiers reduce decision fatigue for prospects. Add niche plans later as needed.
  • Build industry-specific snapshots (dental, real estate, fitness, coaching) to dramatically reduce onboarding time and increase perceived value.
  • Set rebilling markup at 2x-3x for healthy margin without discouraging usage. Going above 5x can price clients out of communication tools.
  • Automate onboarding workflows triggered on new SaaS signup: send welcome sequence, assign tasks to team, schedule kickoff call.
  • Test signup flow quarterly as test client. Catches broken funnels, misconfigured snapshots, email deliverability issues before real clients hit them.

No. Stripe is the only supported payment processor for SaaS subscriptions. PayPal purchases will not trigger auto-provisioning.

What happens when a client cancels?

When subscription is cancelled in Stripe, you control what happens next. Configure sub-account to be paused, downgraded, or deactivated based on your business rules. Set up workflows to handle cancellation events automatically.
